                     NOTE FROM THE LIST VET:

     China's first crematorium and mausoleum for pets opened
   in a suburb of Beijing to meet increasing demand by Chinese
    pet owners to seek humane ways to mourn the death of their
                          furry friends.

       That got us to wondering what songs might be sung to
       commemorate the sad occasion of the passing of a pet.
       We do realize that not every religious sect includes
      singing as part of a funeral service but we have it on
     good authority -- and by that we mean that we just made
            it up -- that all pets are Presbyterians.
